Green & Black’s Organic White Chocolate

greenandblackswhiteI don’t tend to pick up white chocolate bars, although I do remember Halloween chocolate feasts of cookies and cream chocolate bars. But really, I can only think of childhood Easter with those glossy white chocolate bunnies.

What surprised me about Green & Black’s Organic White Chocolate bar is that I was greeted with actual specks of real vanilla – something different than the typical chocolate bar that I would expect. There’s also a delightfully sweet and milky smell that I just couldn’t wait to dive into and try. Maybe it’s the cold weather kicking in, but there’s nothing wrong with indulging in chocolate, especially if it is great quality.

Green & Black’s Organic has a smooth and creamy taste, because of the delicious full cream milk and Bourbon vanilla that they use. This bar melts smoothly in your mouth with a good note of creamy sweetness, especially with its 30% cocoa content and 28% milk.

If you’re a fan of white chocolate, you’ll really enjoy this higher-quality, smooth chocolate bar. Even though I rarely have white chocolate, the sweetness and smoothness of this creamy bar makes it very enjoyable. My new outlook: White chocolate doesn’t need to look like paraffin or doesn’t always have to be paired with Oreo cookies (cookies and cream chocolate bar) to taste good. You just have to pick up the right bar.
