Somersaults Cinnamon Crunch Snack

somersaultscinnamonIt’s not a cracker. It’s also not a pretzel. They’re Somersaults!

Whether you have the munchies for crackers, pretzels, or chips,  Somersaults are an interesting mesh of it all. The cinnamon crunch flavor has a light sweet cinnamon taste, which I am a big fan of. After all, anything with cinnamon makes it 10x better. Made with whole wheat flour, these crunchy pieces have roasted sunflower seeds, and instantly grew on me. They’re crispy and are not over powering in sweetness and cinnamon flavor. Know when you have too much cinnamon and sugar that it leaves a sugary aftertaste and coating in your mouth even after brushing your teeth? Okay, that may not happen to a lot of people, and maybe that goes to show I can easily overindulge, but that’s beside the point.

The cinnamon crunch flavor is great paired with your afternoon coffee or tea. It actually reminds me a bit of cinnamon toast crunch cereal, but without the sugar overload. So, more of a toned down, feel-a-bit-healthy version, while still getting the crunch and some nutritional benefits besides a sugar rush when it comes to that cinnamon and sugar combo.
